Auditions for the Foundation Degree in Dance will be held on the following dates:

All auditions take place at the Moonshot Centre, Fordham Park, Angus Street, New Cross SE14 6LU.

FOUNDATION DEGREE IN DANCE
IRIE! dance theatre, in partnership with City & Islington College and London Metropolitan University, presents the Foundation Degree Award (FDA) – Dance, with a particular focus on African and Caribbean dance forms.
Study innovative dance theory and practice and gain:
• A full Level 5 qualification
• Access to and support from the UK’s leading company
working in the field of African & Caribbean dance
• Work experience through professional placements
This course involves:
• The study of African, Ballet, Caribbean and Contemporary dance techniques providing a unique and balanced training.
• The course is tailored to today’s employment market and explores current trends and developments in the dance industry.
• A direct route to an honours year at London Metropolitan University
• Study in a dedicated arts environment with opportunities for regular performances
In addition to African and Caribbean dance, this programme will also include Ballet and Contemporary dance styles. If you are aged 18 or over and want to progress your career as a professional dancer, this course is for you.
