From 1998 to 2005, Mohammed was principal dancer and rehearsal director with Adzido Pan African Dance Ensemble; He was lead dancer in ‘Strictly African Dancing’ (BBC1), and was also a principal performer and choreographic consultant for the musical ‘Sundance’, at the Hackney Empire. Mohammed is Artistic Director of Semekor Performing Arts where he choreographs new work using traditional and contemporary African dance forms.
