Jacqui Maxwell

Local singer, Jacqui Maxwell, will be performing an “intimate acoustic set” at the Moonshot Centre at 7:30pm on Friday 12 October. This event is one of three(3) special events leading up to a special day of activities at the community centre on Sunday 27 October called Moonshot Reminisce.

Jacqui Maxwell was the lead vocalist and one of the co-founders of the 90′s soul funk band – Metropolis. She is known for her energising performances and amazing vocals. More recently, she has been working with reggae artist Tippa Irie touring Europe.

And Jacqui Maxwell is no stranger to IRIE! either.  She performed in IRIE! dance theatre’s 1994 production called “The Burial of Miss Lady”.
